Carrickfergus Town Hall

Welcome

Castle Voices is for anyone who loves to sing—or just loves being around music. Some of our members are passionate about the arts and find real joy in performing and being part of a creative, musical environment. They thrive on the energy of singing together, learning new pieces, and being inspired by others who share their love for music.

Others join us for the sense of connection. Castle Voices is also a place for people who want to meet new friends, feel part of something bigger, and enjoy a strong, supportive community. Whether you’re looking to express yourself through music or simply want to be around kind, welcoming people, you’ll find a home with us.

No matter your background or experience, there’s a place for you in Castle Voices.

About Us

Castle Voices is a community choir that believes singing should be accessible to everyone. We welcome adults of all backgrounds and musical experience, with no audition required. Our repertoire spans a variety of styles, and we usually sing in two-part harmony, supported by sheet music and learning resources that help members build confidence and develop their musical skills.

Our aim is to create a choir that is both musically rewarding and genuinely inclusive. Rehearsals are designed to challenge and encourage singers at their own pace, while fostering a friendly, supportive atmosphere where everyone feels valued. Whether you are discovering your voice for the first time or returning to singing after many years, you can contribute meaningfully to the choir. We believe that making music together should be inspiring, enjoyable, and something that everyone has the opportunity to experience.

Join us for a day immersed inone of the greatest choral masterpieces ever written.

Whether you've sung Mozart's Requiem many times or have always wanted to experience it for the first time, this Come & Sing workshop is an opportunity to explore the music alongside

other singers in a friendly and supportive environment.

Throughout the day we'll rehearse a selection of the choral movements from the Requiem, working on the music section by section before bringing everything together in an informal performance at the end of the workshop. The day will be accompanied by piano. This is the first Come & Sing organised by Castle Voices. Our aim is to build a welcoming SATB singing community in Carrickfergus, and we hope this will be the first of many similar events in the future.
